Recently shared plans for serving customers during Walmart Black Friday Sale in the holidays, including offering more ways to save on top of everyday low prices. The biggest shopping event of the year, Wal mart Black Friday Sale, will be no exception. This month, we’re giving customers a little something extra with two additional events to get everything on their lists at incredible prices.

As always, customers hoping to shop after their Thanksgiving meals can count on us for an amazing event in our stores. And, for those customers who just can’t wait until then, we’re hosting two early bird events in November to give you a head start on savings. This is what we have planned:

This year, our Black Friday event kicks off at at 10 p.m. EST on Wednesday, November 27. At Walmart stores, our event starts at 6 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28.

Our team has spent the last year bringing together great items from the top brands our customers know and love at incredible prices. And we pride ourselves on having many of our event items available, so customers don’t walk away disappointed.

In addition to offering incredible Black Friday savings, we know it’s also important for customers to save valuable time and plan for the big event. There are a few ways we’re making Black Friday shopping in our stores easier and more convenient this year.

The first is our Store Map feature. Every day of the year, customers can quickly and easily find everything on their shopping lists with this feature in the Walmart app. Customers love it and we’re making special updates for Black Friday.

Starting soon, customers can open the Walmart app and find a Black Friday store map, specific to the store they plan to shop at. In-store locations for the most wanted deals are available today, and locations for all items will be available a few hours before our Black Friday in-store event kicks off.

We’ll make it easier for customers to find their color-coded items in our Black Friday ad, on the Walmart app, and in stores. For example, let’s say a customer has that big on. 40” TV on your list of essentials for Black Friday. Our Black Friday ad shares the price with customers and tells them what color that specific TV is on the Black Friday Store Map in the app. From there, customers can search for the TV in the app so that when they arrive at the store for our Black Friday event, they can quickly find it.

Second, in case customers decide not to use the Black Friday Store Map feature in the app, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. When they arrive at the store on Black Friday, shoppers can browse associated vests, signs, and balloons that match the color of their Black Friday ad item to help navigate them to the deals they’re looking for.
